I'm just fine I'll call you later
Why would I want to be
Be anybody else but me
I'm never gonna fake it
Why would I ever be
Anybody else but me
I know I'm gonna make it
Without a doubt,
I know what I'm about
I'm everything I'll ever want to be
A girl like me

Bailey remembered her sorting like it was yesterday. With a nervous smile, Bailey sat up on the stool. All eyes on her. The large hat slipped over her eyes and began to whisper in her ear. "I see bravery in you. Easily worthy --"
"Not Gryffindor. I'd never fit in there."
"Well then, I see intellect --"
"I can't be a Ravenclaw; I couldn't keep up."
"I see no Slytherin in you, so that only leaves... HUFFLEPUFF!"

hair:
Thick hair frames her face, falling down to Bailey’s chin, the dark black it appears to be is a natural color. However, the red that streaks her bangs is far from natural. It is there thanks to muggle hair dye. Bailey had soft and fluffy hair that she loved running her fingers through -- and having others run there fingers through.
eyes:Bailey has eyes that are a bright green and slightly hazel. As an experiment, Bailey tried her hand at eyeliner. She loved it, it was now common for her to have black outlining her beautiful eyes.
face:
On top of her head sat a mope of her, often her red and black fringe fell into her face. The black hair with the red fringe, was symbolic of Bailey, and her quest to not be the average girl. And it added to her none stereotypical face. Her eyes were a normal color, however. A hazel-y green really was the only way to describe them, and they sat above a small nose, that curved almost upwards. In a way that was cute, not ugly. Bailey had a general appearance of cuteness.
build:Tall yet chubby is the simplest way to describe Bailey. She wasn’t like other girls; she didn’t obsess with being skinny. Bail was in shape, just not a tooth pick. She had a bit of chub and a bit of muscle. She was content with that.
height:Five foot five, standing on flat ground.
weight:With her height, weighing in at one hundred and fifty eight pounds classified her as overweight. It was not something she considered that bad.
distinguishing features:The new music was starting a lot of trends for the muggle society that was such a large part of Bailey’s life. The punk movement intrigued her and she had seen a lot of teens with nose piercings -- of course most of them also had green mohawks. It didn’t matter, she still liked the small silver hoops in others nostrils, and during the summer, she got one done. A small silver hoop hung from the right side of her nose.
clothing style:
The punk scene was starting in muggle London, but she didn’t like the clothing style too much. Bailey was just as easily satisfied in a teeshirt and jeans. The same goes for robes. She really thought that the robes looked like the muggle bath robes she wore as a child. It was not something she wanted to wear in public, but she did. By force.

strengths:
- Flying. Bailey spent so much time on a broom growing up, it became natural for her. Being in the air, using a broom to move -- it had become almost easier then walking sometimes. Her talent for flying gave her a confidence boost she needed.
- Sociable. She is a people person. Bailey has an ability to deal with people. She was fairly sure it would lead her to being Quidditch captain next year. Bailey was also positive that she was well known, and had quite a few friends. since she was so easy going.
- Loving. With every fiber of her being, that's how much Bailey loves someone. She will do everything thing she can to help those she loves. It's also pretty easy to get into her heart. If you show Bailey a little compassion she will show you a lot back.
- Loyalty. There is a reason Bailey is a Hufflepuff, for a lack of a better phrase, she's got your back! Once your in her heart, she will stand behind you through everything. Even when your wrong, Bailey will be there.
weaknesses:
- Trusting. It's her downfall, as much as loving is her strength. Since it doesn't take much to let people into her heart, she will often let the wrong people in.
- Overly social. Not only does Bailey get lonely pretty easily, she has a tendency to get annoying fast. She knows she does but she can't help it. When she gets in a bubbliy mood she is almost positive she annoys people.
-Self-conscious. Although for the most part, Bailey thought highly of herself, she occasionally went back to old habits of self loathing. Up until she was thirteen she hated herself, but she had learned to love what she had. There were days though, that Bailey went back to those dark moods; and she hated them.
-weird. Sure, it could be a weakness, and Bailey is definitely not of the norm. It made her stand out, and seem different and sometimes being different isn't a good thing. In the midst of a war, being different could be really bad.
mirror of erised:
When Bailey looks into the ancient mirror, she shes herself, along with her sister standing arm in arm. Behind them is their family. There mom, their dad, even their grandmother Adele. She's older however. Her goal? It is to be older and even though she had moved on in life, she still kept her family close.
She also wants a family to call her own. Settle down with that right person; have kids, and get to wave at them as they get on the red train to take them to school
fears:
Flying over the lake -- she would fly anywhere, yet when she went over the lake, she got nervous. Afraid of drowning, maybe, but she could go swimming. Mostly, Bailey didn't like being high over water.
boggart:
The boggart will flash to a few different shapes, but all held the same context. It would always be a member of her family, and they would always be dead. Her biggest fear is her family dying.
dementor:
Bailey couldn't remember the details, but the gist of it, she got. It was on the train ride to school in first year. She was sitting alone in a compartment, minding her own business, when in walked a boy with blond hair -- obviously older. His tone was rude and Bailey didn't like him. She liked him less, when he went off about muggles and mudbloods. It was the first time she heard the word, by someone who meant it, and it burned. Bailey loved her family, her mom -- the muggleborn and her grandmother -- the muggle. She didn't understand then, and still doesn't, how someone can judge someone by their blood.
patronus:
Her patronus has yet to take a real form -- it was just a whisp. However, the memory she uses is when she got her letter. Bailey danced around the kitchen, her grandmother even joining in. She had never had so much fun.
amortentia:
The air after it rains, fresh cut grass, vanilla and oranges.
relationship status:
Single.
turn ons:
Confindence, romance, boys that are taller, and girls that are shorter.
turn offs:
Cockiness, lack of confidence and people who think romance is overrated.
personality:
Bailey Bole has a complicated personality - definitely one that could not be described in a few words. For starters, she was a naturally happy person. After living a life where she was unhappy for 13 years, Bailey decided that wasn’t how she wanted to be. Since then, the glass is always half full and she tries her best for others to see it. She also needs people in her life to stay content. In the last three or so years Bail has become a very social person; she needs contact with people. Her grandmother receive a weekly owl, something that not that many Hogwarts students do.
Baily Bole is a studious person; she isn’t a born genius but she is smart enough to do her homework and receive decent marks. Actually slightly higher then decent, she made an average of E in most of her classes, and O’s in her favorites. Her life isn’t surrounded by books, she does love to have fun. She studies hard to receive her marks - but makes sure that she doesn't spend all her time studying. Bailey is glad that she was able to find a happy medium between the two. Otherwise she probably would have driven herself crazy.
Hufflepuff’s had earned the reputation of being push overs, and Bailey is not. She is one of the Hufflepuff students who are working to break that stereo type. She tries to get good grades, just not Ravenclaw standards. She works to stand up for people, showing bravery; maybe not quiet in the way Gryffindor’s do. Bailey has Slytherin in her too - although she would deny it. She’s just as manipulative as the green and silver - just not vicious. In her first year Bailey thought she was meant for Hufflepuff because she fit no where else; however quite the opposite. She fits into all houses, making her perfect of Hufflepuff. It is her belief that Hufflepuff isn’t the house for students that didn’t fit anywhere, but rather the House that gave a home for students that were perfected for all the houses.
Bail was disgusted by the current war and the apparent dark lord. She could not process how anyone could judge someone by their blood. Blood status to her was ridiculous and the thought of ‘dirty blood’ was absurd. She was a half blood because of her grandparents but she didn’t let it mean anything. It didn’t matter that Grandma Adele was a muggle - she was still Bailey and she was still a witch. Just as much as muggles were still people even though they couldn’t do magic, what bothered her the most was that her family were in danger because of Voldemort. She knew that students all around her were signing up for the war; whether it be the side of light and working with Dumbledore -- or if it was with Voldemort and taking on a life of causing pain. With both sides growing stronger Bailey knows she would not be able to live with herself is she stood aside and let innocent people get hurt.
Bubbly, normally a quality of a boiling potion, is a perfect way to describe Bailey Bole. But, like everyone else she had a dark side too; she just didn’t curse people. Well, she didn’t curse people because of racist reasons. When angry, Bail has a really sharp tongue - she is sarcastic and crude. Thankfully it isn’t a side people see too much, she doesn’t want them to; she enjoys to be happy-go-lucky and sociable. Besides no one like to be friends with a complete bitch all the time. However, get on her dark side, and watch your back.

overall history:
It was a hot day, the sun was beating down horribly; the cement was so hot that you could fry an egg. It was June 13th, 1960 and the Bole family was in the process of welcoming their first child into their arms. Then, at 6:13:16 am Heather and Greg welcomed a beautiful girl with a dark head of hair and hazel-green eyes into their family. Bailey joined the happy family on that hot day, and it should have been an omen of what was to come. A child born on Friday the Thirteenth should have been a sign, that Bailey would be what was considered abnormal; and sure enough, Bailey is not a normal sixteen year old.
Growing up, she knew her parents loved her; that was never questioned. However she also knew that her parents wanted more children. After years of failed attempts both her mother and her father threw themselves into her careers. It left Bailey at home, with her maternal grandmother, Grandma Adele. Grandma Adele is a muggle, and when her grandfather, Walter, died, Bailey and her grandmother were both missing something -- accompaniment. Bailey grew very close with her
As time went on, Bailey started to realize how difference she was. She knew she was a witch growing up, with a witch and a wizard as parents; she knew it. However, she didn’t realize that there was such segregation between muggles and magic. She often felt she would have to choose, between who she is a as a witch and the world she was in with her grandmother. Bailey also thought she was physically different then most girls. Wherever she looked, she saw tall skinny girls, short skinny girls and medium height girls who were, well skinny. And Bailey was far from a skinny little girl.
As a child, Bailey wasn’t obsess, she ate healthy and play football with the other kids; and she was still chubby. It made her sad. Her parents and her friends all tried to make her happy but her grandmother was the only one who could do it. Her sadness went on until the summer before her third year at Hogwarts. Her family had decided to take a trip to diagonal alley and for some reason stayed at The Leaky Cauldron. Standing in front of an enchanted mirror, she frowned at herself when the mirror spoke.
“Why so sad, darling?” For a long moment, Bailey didn’t say a word, just looked at her reelection, then slowly a smile crept onto the girls face before she spoke to the mirror.
“I don’t know.” After that Bailey changed, she decided to forget what she should be; she was just Bailey. And a happy Bailey at that. Life became good for her, life is always good when the half is glass.

The sound of the aluminum hitting the curb wasn’t heard over the soft shriek that escaped the girls lips. All up her pants was cola, as the now empty can rolled off the curb. It left a dark stain in the once light asphalt before it fell with one final thud on the road. Somehow, she was angry at the can, for spilling the drink onto her pants and out of rage she jumped onto the can. Big mistake. Soon a louder thud would have reached the ears of anyone on Limeridge street, and quite possibly Lidsville in general. It was her hitting the curb this time.
“Ow, mother!” The almost swear escaped the lips of the girl as she landed on the ground, a frown on her face. Bracing the curb for support she stood, or almost did. A piece of gravel under the girls converse was her down fall. Key word fall, once again the girl landed with a loud thud in the snow. And this time she didn’t hold back. “God damn it! Mother fucker!” Normally she would feel bad for saying offensive things openly; but at this time she didn’t care. Cold, wet and sore all she wanted to do was go home and sleep, but could she? Of course not. She had to get to the store. All because her mom needed seven up.
She couldn’t complain to her mom though; she didn’t have it in her heart. So, slowly, the girl made her way to her feet, and after nearly falling once again she was standing. After pulling her black beanie over her multicolored hair and tightening her grip on her coat she set off again; avoiding evil pop cans. Something about wearing a hat seemed wrong to the girl, after hours of hard work it seemed wrong to hid her hair. It was four colours, and they weren’t highlights. No, her hair was four separate colours including black, blue magenta and green.
Between her short hair, the dark hat and baggy coat it wouldn’t surprise her if she was taking as a guy; it wouldn’t be the first time. However, she didn’t mind. It was her way of showing she was out. Yes, out. This girl is a lesbian; and she wasn’t afraid to hide it. Which is probably why she’s out. Although being out had it’s downside and the only part she didn’t like were the obnoxious questions. And no, her homosexuality doesn’t come from a fear of the opposite sex - she just doesn’t like boys. They have cooties.
Making here way down the side of the road she had to resist the urge to once again kick a can; it probably wouldn’t have ended well. The girl was normally clumsy but it seemed today she was on a roll. Before she fell kicking over the can she had slipped down the last few steps on her porch. By the time she made it home, the girl was sure her ass would be black and blue, and not in the pretty way her tattoo was. Smiling as she opened the door to the corner store, Alexis Melissa Kraten entered, but the small girl liked to be referred to as Lexi.
